Allen Mulliss
Allen has been a member of Heaton Harriers for 10 years and in a decade of racing he has completed 700 races covering road, track, cross country, trail/multi terrain and fell races.
Although still a committee member and membership secretary, from 2007 he has taken a break from being race secretary in order to help pursue his attempt to race in all the English 'Counties' (as defined by the Local Government Act 1972 - although since further reorganised).
Updates:
November 2007: Allen had competed in over half of the counties and anticipates completion by 2009.
June 2008: Still on course for completion in the first half of 2009, Allen is now over 75% towards completion of his objective.
