Given the current uncertainty and the various race cancellations that have been announced over recent weeks, Heaton Harriers have unfortunately made the decision to cancel the rescheduled 2020 Anita Nott Women race. Anita Nott Women’s 5k – entries suspended

Given recent Government advice and UK Athletics recommendations, Heaton Harriers have taken the decision to suspend taking new entries for the Anita Nott Women’s Race which is scheduled to take place on Monday 29 June 2020.  At the present time, we still plan to run the race on 29 June if it is considered safe and appropriate to do so. Club training is cancelled

Club training is cancelled, in response to the government’s recommendation that all non-essential contact with others should be avoided. We can expect that parkruns and upcoming races will now be cancelled, as it is recommended that mass gatherings do not go ahead and will not receive support from emergency services.
