Sprint relays and throws fest Sept 17

Heaton keep on winning at Track and Field!

A small but strong green and white army travelled with purpose to Sheffield over the weekend, to compete in the North of England Track and Field championships. Stephen Shubeler achieved a massive PB in the 1500m, won gold in his age category and was 3rd in the race overall. Heaton Hero wins again at the World transplant games 2017

John Moore repeated his success  at the World Transplant games from 2 years ago, this time in Malaga. John won gold medals in the  40-49 age categories for 1500m and 800m with times of 4.55.73, and 2.19.54 respectively,  which despite the heat showed consistent form this season. NEWSFLASH : Results now available here  A record number of entries this year, fantastic atmosphere generated from the Heaton Harriers marshalls and all the women who ran, smiles on their faces enjoying an epic race, which began with a minutes silence to remember Anita. Coastal Run Bus

The club is looking at providing a bus again from Blue Flames to the start of the coastal run and will pick us up at the end to return.
