Heaton hero’s win again!

Sunday 22nd April not only saw a good number of Heaton Harriers tackle the hot London Marathon, but plenty of Heaton were competing elsewhere. in the Terry O’ Gara Dani Smythe was 2nd woman, with a finish time of 18.37! Not content with that, Dani joined a group of Heaton competing in the sprint relays at Churchill. Sprint relays and throws fest Sept 17

On Wednesday evening 6th of September lots of people descended on Monkton stadium for the sprint relays and throws festival.  Rosie Rice competed in the shot, and the teams for sprint relays consisted of Lisa Boyd, Rosie Rice, Helena Walsater, Colette Whitfield, Janine Routledge and Suzan Dudink for senior women, and for senior men, Adam Nott, Aidan Batey, Stephen Schubeler, Antony Scott-Daglish, and Keith Rooney. both senior teams took part Continue Reading →

Heaton keep on winning at Track and Field!

A small but strong green and white army travelled with purpose to Sheffield over the weekend, to compete in the North of England Track and Field championships. Stephen Shubeler achieved a massive PB in the 1500m, won gold in his age category and was 3rd in the race overall.   Thursday the 10th of August 2017 is the Durham City Harriers hosted Summer XC relays. They are to be held at Maiden Castle sports complex, Durham. Don’t be put off by ‘XC’, it is on well maintenance sports fields used by Durham Uni and they are in great condition and it is flat!
