Heaton Harriers Grand Prix Summer 2008:
The scoring system in each race is the same as in the previous Grand Prix series. The competition is open to all members of Heaton Harriers, and is based on their finishing positions in several local races. First Heaton male and female finisher each get 12 points. Next gets 11, then 10, and so on, but all Heaton finishers get a minimum of 5 points per race.
There are ten races in this series, with each runner's best eight scores counting. In the event of any race being cancelled, the committee may substitute a different race. Any such changes will be shown on this page.
