Helen Johnson
Since joining Heaton Harriers in June 2002 Helen has had many racing highs and injury lows. She has competed for the club in numerous road races, cross-country, track & field, although she is unlikely to be selected to throw the Hammer in 2012! Helen took over as chief coach in March 2006, and was named 'athlete of the year' in 2007. Prolonged injury has kept her from competing in recent months, but she is hoping to make a strong comeback in the near future.
