Memorial Races


The memorial shield shown in the photo on the right has been awarded since 1920 to the first Heaton member to finish the senior men's race at our annual Memorial Road Races in November. Listed at the top of the shield are the names of 12 Heaton members who were killed during World War I.

There is also a prize for the first Heaton member in each of the other races. The known men's and women's winners are being listed below as I find them.
