Veterans events:
VAA-NEE
The Veterans' Athletics Association - North East of England provides league competition and championship events for male and female athletes aged over 35. They are divided into 5-year age categories. To compete in these you must become a member of the VAA-NEE. Membership also entitles you to enter national and international Masters events. You can visit their website for more information.
BMAF
As a member of VAA-NEE, you will also be eligible for events organised by the British Masters Athletic Federation. The BMAF also handles British entries for the World and European Masters events. A list of some forthcoming events appears below, along with links to further information. There is no qualifying standard for these events. Any member of VAA-NEE would be eligible to enter them.
