Matt Hetherington was over racing in the lakes on the fells in the brutal but iconic Borrowdale Fell race, also some class running.  Nearer to home Wayne Fuller, Danny R George R and Nina C raced the local favourite that is Powburn hill race. Doug Micheal was further afield racing in Australia at the marathon distance. A long way to run a long way.

Today saw the Gosforth Harriers relays and we had one team of Calum Mills, Anth Daglish and Ian Sanderson racing. well done lads for the team finishing in the top ten. Abbie Boxhall was first Heaton Home at the York 10k, well done Abbie.

John Moore and Nadia Stock were both competing in the British Transplant games, both winning gold medals plus others this weekend.

Our spartan chairman was also racing again at the South Shields 10 miler today, after battling round in the heat yesterday at Powburn. George, the whole club raises its hat to you. Well done governor!  John James won his age cat in the same South shields ten miler, Well done JJ!

The whole club is active in many disciplines and above shows the depth and strength of our wonderful old club.
